This includes: account information such as your name, email address, phone number, organization name, job title, and password; organizational information including your nonprofit’s mission, focus areas, geographic service area, budget size, and tax-exempt status; grant-related data such as grant applications, deadlines, funding history, and project information you enter into the platform; payment information including billing address and payment method details (processed through our secure payment processors); and communications including messages, feedback, and support requests you send to us.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain information, including: device information such as your device type, operating system, browser type, and unique device identifiers; usage data including pages viewed, features used, search queries, click patterns, and time spent on the Service; log data such as IP address, access times, and referring URLs; and location information derived from your IP address or, with your consent, more precise location data.

4. AI Processing and Machine Learning

fetchfund uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to power our grant discovery and matching features. You acknowledge and agree that: your organizational data and grant-related information may be processed by AI systems to generate personalized recommendations and insights; we may use aggregated, anonymized data from all users to train and improve our AI models; AI-generated recommendations are provided for informational purposes and should be independently verified; and you retain ownership of all data you submit, and our AI processing does not transfer ownership or exclusive rights to fetchfund.

5. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances: with service providers, contractors, and agents who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, data hosting, and customer support; with professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, and insurers, where necessary; in response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with any applicable law, regulation, or legal process; if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of fetchfund or others; in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business; with your consent or at your direction; and as aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your individual grant application data or organizational strategies with other users or competitors.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. We may also retain and use your information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After account termination, we will retain your data for thirty (30) days to allow for data export, after which your personal data will be deleted or anonymized, except as required by law.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest; regular security assessments and penetration testing; access controls and authentication requirements; employee training on data protection; and incident response procedures.
